Yea, maybe I try it later.  Now I look at these pictures again, it actually does look a lot better!  LOL  I can actually see the color burned tip.

Anyway... if you look at the 1st before and 1st after picture, is my exhaust tip rusting?  You see it between the the R and the e in the GReddy logo.

Since I put on the Greddy 2 years ago, I have never cleaned it. So it looks extremely DULL. What should I use to bring its SHINE back? The Eagle one seems to require a lot of elbow grease for the condition that my exhaust is in!

I spend about 15 minutes on it.
1) Apply Eagle One Never Dull
2) Very fine steel wool to clean it
3) Repeat step 1 and step 2 if necessary till you are satisfy with the result
4) Use paper towel to wipe off the oil.  The Eagle One Never Dull is pretty oily.
5) Use wet paper towel to wipe it again
6) Lastly dry it with a paper towel.

15 minutes is not that bad...  Just make sure you have something to seat on while doing it.  You don't want to crouch because that will be too tiring.

Wouldn't the steel wool scratch the exhaust?

I got the finest steel wool.  Just like sand paper, they also have grading.
I didn't see a single scratch.   8)

Wow thats good for it.

My girlfriend uses windex and it seems to work pretty good. She also uses it on the chrome ring on the front grill.

Here's what Greddy replied with:
"We recommend only cleaning it with mild soapy water.  The same thing you would use to clean the paint on your car.  The dullness is usually just carbon build up.  You can used a automotive metal polish on the rest, not including the tips if you like."

So WTH man, don't use the polish on the tips? Isn't that the whole point? To get the blue tips all shiny and brand new?

I assume they say that so you don't actually lose the blue burnt tip. Since its not actually blue throughout the thickness of the metal, you can actually polish it off eventually if you use too abrasive of a polish.

I didn't think about this when I said Mother's because I don't have burnt tips but he's probably right if you want to keep the burnt look.

Thanks for the great update!

It's also great to know that you can take a blow torch and get a deeper color or whatever. But personally, I would never do such a thing because it will ruin the original look.

Good thing I emailed them before actually doing it, then being like :o WTF went wrong?
