scrape the inside?
« on: February 08, 2010, 10:19:50 PM »
will an 18 x 8.5 +48 offset fit?  I know it probably wont rub the fenders but what about all the stuff on the other side like suspension?

It shouldn't, but I would still run 5mm spacers with that setup so that it is a bit more flush.  Shouldn't need a roll at +43 (or +48 w/ a 5mm spacer).

stock offset is 46 , you could have a issue if you go much farther,  and spacer are  just plain stupid, can effect proper torquing of wheels.

Don't get spacers and try to get an 8" wheel. Or find one with a smaller offset as you can account for that by rolling the fenders.
