Guys, what do you think of some decals or stickers on our lancers. For example I have a 9glancer, NGK, INJEN, and Greddy sticker on my door. Some of my friends say it looks good but others say no. What are your opinions? Would it be "ricer"? And for the record i have the exhaust and CAI from those companies.

not a track car so dont need crap like that to mess up the clean look of the car. forum decal is fine but other than that dont really find it necessary on the car. just asking for cops to pull you over really. just imo.

The 9glancer sticker is fine, but in my opinion I dont like decal stickers on my vehicle.. Anyways I also dont like the word "ricer" rice is delicious nothing wrong with it! lol

my reasons for not doing it

-clutters the car
-not sponosred then why rep?
-car forums/clubs are okay
-a bit ricey
-creates unwanted attention

everyone is entitled to their opinion.. but its all about what you think looks good. only use decals for parts you do have. decals are usually a good conversation starter like.. "hey you have a GREDDY decal, what parts you got on it?" personally, I think smaller ones are alright, and the bigger ones like what KRU had should only be used for sponsor.

Edit: @OP: It really depends on where your located and what the decal is in general. Big names I think should sponsor you before you rep their gear. Forums and clubs are always cool to have cause then your apart of something... but yeah I think it really all comes down to location. I wont put stickers on my car here cause that's a red flag for "Streetracer" and I really dont want to deal with some little honduh...

Anything more than a 9glancer decal is not for me, it's all personal opinion.

RICE!!!! why would you rep a product that you are not sponsored from. then the next idiot will do the same and think its cool and has no idea what it is.

the term "RICE" is also used when a japanese vehicle is overdone with decals, non-functional wings and useless bodykits

yup, i'm all about no decals. i don't think the car needs to draw any more attention then it does already. plus i want adults, like my self, thinking my car looks nice. not eleventeen year olds eye fuking me and trying to race me with their awesome 93 corollas.

If you like them do it, its your car and if you like it do it. Who cares what anyone else says. I personally think that if you aren't sponsored or making money from the company, don't put their decals on.

i like if there in the back little window and on the body like that kid with the black and orange ones did. but only put them on if it comes with the part you ordered ya know?

I have 3 decals on my car. One from the one that came with my Injen intake, one from a local car group that I am active in (JDM Chicago), and the good ol' Domo sticker. It's not that I am sponsored by any of them, it's just that I choose to show off what's under the hood or what I'm a part of. I know the limits between overdone rice and just a clean look.

We saw a Honda minivan the other night that had a big HONDA sticker on the bottom (below the doors). It also had some that said something like 3.4 VTEC or some crap like that.

i have (3)9g decals and i like it. but im also getting a filipino decal with the 3 stars and sun just looking for the perfect size. im from guam also so i might put one of those too. $:-\$ i like the domo sticker stEEEZE i have one like it just dont know where to put it.

The 3 stars and a sun will look nice, i would put it on the front windsheild top portion where the blade wont hit. and put the domo in the back bottom section.

i was actually thinking on putting it by the rear winshield like the eat sleep jdm decal krz has in the gallery. i dunno... im getting it tattooed on me my bday.
