Really starting to hate having a CVT right about now.
This is my signature. I currently have none. I hope you have enjoyed my non-signature.

Same. But I honestly got the CVT knowing I would get in trouble with a manual. Too temping to race around town for no reason

Yeah it really does make it easier to race around but this isnt a super fast car we are talking about here.  The amount of trouble you can get into is kind of limited lol.

I found ways to get in to trouble with my 93 Ranger. This car is faster than that.

Why does everyone knock our car's speed/performance?  Seriously, our car can hold it's own.  It's alot faster than my 98 Civic HB.  And i did well in that lil CX.

All in all, the turbo will add to our already quick jump off the line.  I was more afraid of getting another manual car because i have a tendency to jump the line and race someone.  (I don't do that(race) anymore, i don't have enough money to pay for tickets.)

I love my car and I will turbo it, but will admit that it is slow lmao. But that's what the turbo will be for =D
And about quick off the line, for the manual yes, for the CVT hell no. We got a torque limiter so we can't jump off the line. I tried launching my car by brake boosting and yeah... still not quick lmao.

wow! That sucks.  You'd think tuning the computer would kill that limiter.  Anyways!! YAY for Turbo!!

You guys have really got to stop looking at jump performance and worry more about your mid to high RPM performance. That's where the candy is at with these cars. Out here in NC I still race someone on the street every now and then and I always get taken off the line. At the same time, I pick my battles wisely and will almost always catch them before they're out of second gear and pass them.

Your going to get caught off the jump. That's just the nature of the beast with the electronic throttle control and failsafe programming built into the Lancers. What you all need to work on/worry about is your performance at 3500RPM's when that Mivec kicks in and the cams change position. That's where your torque is to begin with.

Of course.. This is for the CVT guys. I don't know if you five speeders have that issue at all.
If Rota wheels are so bad, and kill so many innocent babies, nuns and puppies I highly doubt they would be in business. You would never see the wheels on a car in the show and shine section, at a track, or on any persons car that had sense. They would make the evening news along with all my "evil black rifles" that spontaneously kill any living thing all by them selves. But that's not the case, people like them and use them.
