Topic: 08 Ralliart Turbo work on an 08 GTS

Hi guys. i m thinking about getting a turbo for an 08 GTS but dont like the 4k price tag. I was wondering about a Ralliart turbo. Would it be compatible with a GTS? Also, would it be worth it for the power gains? Ive found a few for about 1500. Any feedback is appreciated.

I heard a lot of people in Puerto Rico are doing the Ralliart and Evo set-ups for base Lancers. But I haven't seen any videos/pics or dyno sheets.

you can ask DRAGOON1876, he did it to his GTS. He is a mechanic for Mitsu in Canada. He said, his GTS pulls 590 awhp and smoked a X. Race Creations got called out bcuz he wanted to race him. Ico, flambouyentdude, monk the abbott was on the chat when DRAGOON1876 said this!!!!

nothing is impossible..even an honda hatchback with built engine can push 500

Best highest HP on the v4 ever was a Eclipse pushing 1380whp (as i remember)....it was a drag car. Look up in Youtube, u will see it.


And yea u can fit the RA and Evo turbo into the Lancer.
Redsun in PL did it with 211 whp at 6 psi (2.0 motor)....raced and blew a piston .
He bought a new Motor 2.4L and push 5psi and get 211whp again.
Cant go up anymore because the CVT get over heated and cant handle it....that as long as i remember.
Now he selling the Turbo to buy the Evo X over PL

I am pretty sure AMS's 1000+ hp evo is stroked, that is if you are talking about their evo IX.  WHich means it has a 2.3L engine now.  Not that it really matters cause its still a 4 cylinder.  i do however find it very surprising that anyone in this scene doesnt know that by now.  It was a huge article in like every import magazine when the first Evo hit the 1000hp mark.

my thoughts exactly. i remember reading a story in modified mag of a srt4 neon with 1000+ hp out of a V4 (lol) its possible all about cooling and upgrading every damn component in the car. everything from intercooler fuel lines injectors internal engine components. you cant push 1000 horsepower out of a stock lancer engine. i have a buddy with an evo8 pushing 550 hp with new intercooler nitrous and lots of other upgrades.
