Wide Body
« on: August 10, 2009, 05:02:58 PM »
To all of you RA owners, the only people (Outside of our very few and very rare boosted Lancers) who I believe rate to purchase a body kit like this.

I think those of you with the funds should check into this. It's sexier than an Evo once it's on and definitely changes the lines of the car, makes them sharper.

http://www.scorpionkits.com/album/main.php?cmd=imageview&var1=Scorpionkits+Products/Misubishi/Lancer+GT/SCORPION+GT+SPORT+2.JPG

A little info before anyone emails them (Since you have to email for price + Shipping as they're based in Malaysia) is that the kit itself is $2700 before shipping. It's over 15 pieces, I wanted it, but never got around to asking if they would sell it in pieces rather than as a full kit because I didn't want the hood or the wing.

I think it's absolutely gorgeous and would look perfect on an RA.

Oh yeah, Edit, one final note:

When and if you email them in reference to a product you need to include an image of the product and the product # so they know what your talking about .

If Rota wheels are so bad, and kill so many innocent babies, nuns and puppies I highly doubt they would be in business. You would never see the wheels on a car in the show and shine section, at a track, or on any persons car that had sense. They would make the evening news along with all my "evil black rifles" that spontaneously kill any living thing all by them selves. But that's not the case, people like them and use them.

Very nice looking except I'm not digging the hood or wing. I would get this if my car were show... Damn beautiful. Logic if you get it I'll be extremely jealous!

I'm FWD Fail boss.

I'd love to get it but the car wouldn't live up to it. That's why I posted it here. Though if I got an RA it would definitely be on the To Do: list..

No, it doesn't flow as smoothly as the factory body lines do, I'll agree with you on that. It's also not designed to do that.

The gap on the rear fender on the a* end is not a design flaw or a mounting flaw, it's made to be like that, to look like a vent.

Yes, there are four, what look like bolts, on the front bumper beneath the headlight. But if you knew anything about what's going on beneath your bumper there you'd know that there's nothing there for them to bolt to. Not flush on the bumper. That's all styrofoam directly behind the bumper right there buddy.

The rear fender/bumper is also completed by what looks like a pair of fender spats, black, hard to see in the pictures.

Take your newb 4$$ and actually look at the product, know something about it, research it, before you try and bash it. It's nice enough to know there's an option for a widebody out there that doesn't follow the lines of the Evo.

Not all of us want to be Evo Clones like you. :D
