« on: June 22, 2009, 09:03:17 AM »
ok so i have a GG RA and i want to paint the rims the same color. i have all the supplies and everything but i have a question. because of the clear coat which i know you have to put on, i dont want the rims to be extremely shiny, maybe just a flat color. does anyone know how i could do that?

why do you "have to" put on clear coat? if you get dupli-colour wheel paint, that stuff is chip resistant. that way you can just get the colour you want.

^ you dont have to put on clear if you use the wheel paint. I have a GG GTS with Evo X wheels on it painted dark gray. The are a little darker that the body, but I like the little bit of contrast.

You can see them here. http://9glancers.com/index.php?action=gallery;cat=128
