Slotted rotors will come later on, but pads are a quick way to gain a lot of braking power. The fluid upgrade is because Ill be racing on the track, so a stock fluid would boil up and I could have major brake issues.  |death|

When I did the brake upgrade on my old GTS I used Porterfield pads and they were awesome. Problem is they are extremely expensive. I've heard some good things about the EBC pads so I figured I would give them a try seeing as they are half the price of Porterfields!

If the EBC suck then Ill switch back  |grin|

Brake work is partially done...turns out the pads were the wrong type. First time EvoM info has turned into a failure. Oh well, I am moving forward to get some new pads.  |death|

Today the brake fluid was added, and I also was speaking with the shop and we will be fitting Evo 8 brake ducts to my car next Saturday along with fitting pads that actually fit  |tongue|

After this past weekend at the track with WORKs and hearing what they have planned I will be waiting for their brake upgrades.

There was also another RA there with Robispec, testing out their new brake kit. Tried to talk with the guy but he wasnt very talkative  |rollseye|

yea but arent those complete brake assemblies (like calipers and brake lines) i was just looking for aftermarket pads to replace the old ones. I did that on the old lancer and they worked wonders. so i wanted to do the same with the RA, dont really got the money to fork over to replace the entire system.
