when are you feeling the power lower mid or higher rpm's?

mid to high, and compared to the 2.0 intake on our cars, it doesnt feel like its starving of air when you downshift on the cvt. its not as loud either.

just added a dyno. waiting on the dyno to show why not to use the 2.0L intake on a 2.4L

I have an 08 2.0. the 2.0 intake will give me more than 2 fricken hp wont it?

yea it would. its just that the 2.4 gts demands more air, and the "MR"technology thing is tuned for the 2.0. you would be fine wiht the one they are selling now

Would i get even more power with the 2.4? It might throw the CEL light though right?

umm idk more than likely, see the piece thats the sensor mounts too. has a small pipe inside that regulates the airflow at idle and low rpms, and its tuned for the best results fuel/air ratio. the tech said our cars run rich stock. so idk some of the stuff he told me was really technical so yea i get the basics of what he said

That's why WORKs and Road Race were able to extract some power outta this 8itch.   the car runs with too much fuel.   Some power can be found just by evening out the a/f mixture.

I wanna hear yours.  I forget how my CAI used to sound.  sold that thing awhile ago

just talked to injen, they said they will be selling them within 2-3 weeks. so get your piggy banks ready

just got my car back today. the new intake is AWSOME!






the sensor mount is the main difference. its bigger with the correct tuning


they also tested the 2.0 intake and showed me the dyno and we only gaind 2hp and jumped up and down our stock hp

the tech is going to email me the dyno's for the 2.0 and 2.4 intakes on the 4b12 motor

That dyno is rigged for better results...
