I'll hit you up later with some pros and cons, I'm sure you'll get some good responses. All in all it depends on your budget

Evo swa? That motor itself will cost about the amount of the gts itself. They usually use an evo turbo setup or an ra turbo setup not a full engine swap. Personally I'm gonna piece together the kit with evo turbo parts, fmic, uicp, licp, manifold, turbo, etc. ive seen evo motors go for like 9k ish and they are usually from a wrecked car. A new evo motor is gonna be like 10-15k or even more. Make an ra turbo or evo setup and it will be about 3-5k max depending on the deals and parts you come across

Well in a couple years there may be more options but as of now it just depends what your financial situation looks like and how soon you want to get the project done. Its obvious you can save a ton of money buy buying used parts. OEM parts that worked great and will fit like a glove. There is a small amount of custom work involved with piecing together the kit. Like the piping from the throttle body to the LICP. The big thing that can steer people away is the fact that your Check Engine light will be on. I have a feeling that this will be resolved sooner rather than later. Seems like there is alot of smart a* people working on it right now, and this whole boosting the Lancer thing seems to be getting alot more popular. So lets keep our fingers crossed. As far as the RRM kit goes, well basically you are gonna buy brand new parts, everything should fit and be plug and play, but its expensive.
IMO I like the fact that you can use the OEM parts to boost the vehicle and this is why...Because we are using Evo/RA parts, we can also upgrade to RA/EVO aftermarket parts..I.E. I am running a RA Injen CAI, you can upgrade to Hard Pipes, Intercoolers, Manifolds, Downpipes..etc should all work. With the RRM kit what you get is what you are getting for good.
I think all around in the end youll be happier running the OEM setup, there is more options available for you to really dress up that engine bay
