whats the offset of the wheels? offset really is everything. if its below 40 offset you will rub in the rear and need fender rolling. Also depends on what size tires you plan on getting, with 245/40 on 8.5 you will rub no matter what, but with 235/40 on 8.5 you may not. For safety just roll your fenders since your car is already dropped, which automatically increases chances of rubbing.

only issues you can possibly have is if heatgun isnt used. that would cause paint to chip and crack. otherwise fender rolling is so simple. its actually more work to take off a wheel, than it is to roll a fender.

I would test fit before fender rolling I'm pretty freaking low on coils and I'm about to run 9 inch wheels with 22 offset, and I'm not even gonna rub that much (fenders rolled). But keep in mind there is no perfect fender roll job, there's always gonna be tiny imperfections

What are the affects or things that i should expect if i were to run wider tires?
Is there a difference in performance? Handleing? Fuel? Comfort?

There's another post going on about this somewhere, pretty much not a huge difference in anything due to width, but weight is what makes a difference, a wider tire will have better traction so better handling and acceleration however that will be negated if the wheels are heavy, the fuel efficiency will drop due to a larger contact area with the road and as for comfort I think that's subjective.

The reason the weight is so important is because it is unsprung weight, which makes a big difference on the car, so figure out the weight of your wheel and tire combo and then search on here because there is already a stock wheel weight thread I'm pretty sure

Hope this helped, anymore wheel or tire fitment or function questions just lt me know

i still say you won't scrub with how low yours is. There's loads of room there.
i'm lower on 9j's and on the standard rims it was truly slammed. Here's a couple of pics of how low it was on standard rims and how low it is currently without rolled fenders.

1. i am droped on G.R.I.P springs by RRMS and I have 18x 8.75 +30mm

2. I cut my fender lip (i was scared till i really understood what it meant by fender rolling, they need to rename a "fender roll" to "fender lip cut/flatten" cuz that is what it is)

3. I cut my fender lip with a dermal tool and it worked out perfect didn't even heat it, or nothing just woke up and went out with a dermal tool and boom.

for all those who think a fender rolling is ROLLING THE FENDER is wrong cuz that is what I thought and it's not. its just flattening the lip on the fender roll.

So, i have been searching around and i REALLY like the XXR 527's. I love the concave look sooo freaking much. But, i would have to get my fenders rolled right?

If anyone has any other rims they suggest please share. I will buy rims once i save up enough for tires + wheels + teins/coils.
