Wicked White Scorpion Center Lip Installed!
« on: January 26, 2012, 08:08:36 PM »
Just got in my scorpion center lip in white  :D. Took 1 minute to put on, super easy install. I think it looks great and i like that it is white and not the typical flat black all the way down the center. Next up is rims  but i don't know what style or size i want, any help/pics would be appreciated! And price range.

Nice! I think you should of gotten the flat black one, I think it would look better matching the blacked out center.

looks good. I was thinking about getting one for my GG then looking into a RA lip since its flat like that. But still like the look.

it sits pretty flush with the fangs, very happy with the fit. Yea the flat black looks good but i like to be different and not do what everyone does.  8)

what did you use to tint the side markers? nightshades? and how do you like your exhaust? not too loud? or ricey?

For the side markers I used vht nightshade, its the quickest and easiest mod you can possibly think of and a can you could get it at any auto parts store like auto zone.

As for the exhaust I wanted something that would get noticed but not obnoxiously loud and the TiC is perfect. Many users on here will probably tell you the SE or SP are better but its all personal preference. The TiC gives me the nice growl I like and looks a lot better then the SE. All without sounding ricey

Well I got mine from a user on here, I had mine installed by my girls dad who happens to be a mechanic lol but that was just because of some minor fitment issues with 2011's. If you get the new RS with modified brackets which is the same as the TiC without the burnt tip then you could easily do the install yourself. As for the price it all depends where you get it. I recommend autocityimports.com they usually have pretty reasonable prices on mods for our cars

Looks great
+1 for getting it color matched. down the road if you get tired of that look you can always plastidip it. And of you get tired of that, you can peel it off. lol

I might be see you around when i start going back to ucf for the fall.

looks pretty good with the color matched lip
does look like an RA
its not one most of the people do here, but i think there's a couple on this side with the color matched lip like yours
but @systema is right. if you get tired of the color matched you can always plastidip it, then remove it when you get tired of that lol

I really like the look of the center lip. It has a very stock look to it, which is what I like the most. I would be interested to see how Scorpians center lip compares to the one from ARS.

Does it have a nice low growl? It's not high pitched when u hit higher RPM's is it? How much would an exhaust like this cost?

Yeah it has a low pitch it doesnt sound like the hondas running around. No its still deep sounding when its at high rpm's. It cost me $180 but that was back in 2010 i think lol.

Just got in my scorpion center lip in white  :D. Took 1 minute to put on, super easy install. I think it looks great and i like that it is white and not the typical flat black all the way down the center. Next up is rims  but i don't know what style or size i want, any help/pics would be appreciated! And price range.

Wheres the lip? lol

Looks so good that I can't even tell it is aftermarket unless I really look.

You should go down a bit with black though, not all the way. Tape off a line at the bottom and bring the black down. I think it will look really good. Either way, very nice !

^^hahaha sometimes some people just need that extra push lol
lol in rotc or the military in general they have an acronym for this sort of thing.
RTFM or RTDM- READ THE F!@#ING/DAMN MANUAL.

Im guessing we could adopt it for 9g and forums in general except change one thing.
RTFT- READ THE F!@#ING THREAD.

if it sounds like im being a little harsh to the two that asked where it is, Im really not. I wasn't about to post a direct link for info that was on the same page lol.
