It does not seem like we, or rather I will be having enough time to do this every month. I am officially putting this project on hold until further notice unless someone is willing and able to do it.

Bump. I would like to resurrect this feature but may not have time myself to do this. Is there anyone that would like to take a stab at this feature? You will be in charge of getting it done a couple days before the end of the month so we can get it setup by next month.

Give us inputs or ideas. We'd like to keep the layout similar but options are open. Refer to past winners for an idea.

Sweet, it would def be nice to get this rolling.  Doesnt have to be crazy or anything, 25 days to register your car, then the end of the month to vote.  There doesnt have to be a big story involved with the ROTM.  Its just nice to see who is doing work to their vehicles and really showcase their rides.

That's one of the reasons we try to differentiate with 9glancers. We just don't want to pick a member and put a name and pictures up. This'll be like any other car forum and to me, serves no purpose. With the amount of work required to do it, it's probably one of the reasons it was put on hold.

You can pretty much write it as you want. The main thing is having someone committed to it. The questions, writing, layout, etc.. when I first started doing it; I drew a lot of ideas and creative thinking from car magazines. If one of you guys want to try it out, PM me and let me know.

This should be a Public Poll , So no one can be accused of playing favorites , but we need rules for submission , such as ......

 Deadline for submissions will be  25th of each month , after that voting will commence.

Rules:

Must be a 2008-2013 Lancer
Must Be Your Lancer
Must show Pictures Of your Lancer
Must Have a full Modification List
Must be an active member with an accumulated 100 or more posts by the deadline to be considered an applicant.
Previous winner must wait at least a month before re-submissions for ROTM.
Also answer the following question

Why do you think your lancer should be ROTM?

Winner will have there ride displayed on the front page of the site to receive all the glory. Also will win a spot on the main page for the month you win so get some good shots everyone.

Let the submissions begin .

Good basis, only thing I dont like is the resubmissions every other month if you win.  I think if you win in 2013, you cant run again till the next calender year.  Meaning Jan '13 winner cant run till Jan '14 but the winner if Dec '13 can run Jan '14.  That way at the end of the year you can have a Ride of the year competition and that will make sure there is 1 car per month.

Very good ideas mentioned above. I also think think we should add another rule! There should be a post quota met by ALL members who vote. Members who vote should have at least 20 posts (same as members who run) in order to be given the privilege to vote. This will help us to differentiate ourselves from other forums and most importantly prevent fraud votes that seem to have become common on other forums.
