« on: August 15, 2011, 11:18:14 AM »
I own a 2009 GTS with the Premium Sound and Sun package, it has the bluetooth I use it for calling and such but is it possible to stream bluetooth, the dealer made it sound like you could but I cant seem to figure it out. I tried searching found nothing concreate. I also looked in the manual and found nothing. Sorry if I missed a previous post.

I have a Blackberry Torch and i use it to stream Pandora to the car's bluetooth and i can also skip tracks on Pandora with the steering wheel controls.  If you cycle through with the CD button, you should come across an option that says BT Audio; thats what you would use.  I have a 2011 GTS thats fully loaded except for navi, so i am not sure if its an "extra" option.

If your Iphone does work, i would like to know because RIM is not doing so well these days.  So, i might be switching to an Iphone or a droid soon.

Lastly, my torch has bluetooth version 2.1, so i would assume that if you have the iphone 4, that has version 2.1 as well, that it should work.

I have an iphone also, If you do what 2011gts said and go to the BT Audio option, when you hit play on the Ipod part of your Iphone, there should be a symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. you should be able to click that and hit Hands Free Audio instead of the default Iphone

edit: this may be only an option on the 2011 Fuse System.

adecker - once you get it going, its awesome!  I have an ipod in my car too, but never really use it much anymore.  Well, if i am driving somewhere where i don't get decent 3g cell service, i will use my ipod.  I haven't even used the CD player since i bought the car. ;D
